We ship within Canada.
When is Canada-wide shipping free?
Free Canada-wide shipping is available on qualifying orders over $125 under the current shipping policy.
Do shipments include tracking?
Yes. Tracking information is provided in the shipping-confirmation email when the order ships.
Is local pickup available?
Free local pickup in Grimsby, Ontario may be arranged. Contact us before completing checkout so we can confirm the current process.
Which carriers do you use?
Orders may be shipped through Canada Post or couriers such as FedEx, UPS, Purolator or Canpar, depending on the order and destination.

Do you sell to individual consumers?
Yes. Products are sold directly through the website to individual consumers as well as businesses and organizations.
Are bulk quantities available?
Yes. Selected products are sold by the box, bag or case, and volume options are available on some products.
How do I request a larger quote?

Do I need a wholesale account?

Masks and respirators
Is a respirator the same as a medical mask?
No. A respirator is designed to seal more closely to the face and filter inhaled particles. A medical mask is looser fitting and is primarily designed for source control and fluid-barrier performance. Read our full comparison.
Are all masks labelled N95 identical?
No. NIOSH N95, CSA CA-N95 and other respirator designations refer to different standards or approval systems. Check the exact manufacturer, model and markings.
Does an ear-loop mask count as a NIOSH-approved N95?
Health Canada states that NIOSH-approved disposable N95 respirators use head straps. Do not infer NIOSH approval from a product name alone.
What do ASTM Levels 1, 2 and 3 mean?
They are medical-mask performance classifications under the applicable ASTM F2100 standard. They do not make a medical mask a respirator and do not guarantee a facial seal. See our ASTM guide.
How do I choose a mask size?
Use the exact model’s dimensions and sizing guidance. The mask should cover the nose, mouth and chin and sit as intended without obvious gaps. Occupational respirator use may require formal fit testing.
Are masks available by the case?

What should I know about the North Shield masks?
The North Shield masks were manufactured in February 2022, and the boxes show a best-before date of February 2024. This older-inventory disclosure is shown on the product page so customers can make an informed decision before purchasing. Review the complete product description before ordering.
Disposable and work gloves
What is the difference between nitrile and vinyl gloves?
Nitrile is commonly selected for close fit, puncture resistance and durability. Vinyl can suit some short-duration, lower-demand tasks. The correct choice depends on the intended use and product documentation.
What does glove thickness in mils mean?
A mil is one-thousandth of an inch. A higher number generally indicates a thicker glove, but formulation, texture, fit and measurement location also affect performance.
Does a glove colour indicate protection?
No. Colour can support visibility or workplace coding, but it does not establish thickness, chemical compatibility, medical status or cut protection.
What does an ANSI cut level mean?
It is a manufacturer-stated tested classification used to compare cut resistance. It does not automatically establish protection against puncture, impact, chemicals or heat.
Can one glove protect against every chemical?
No. CCOHS states that no glove material is resistant to every chemical. Use the safety data sheet and glove manufacturer’s compatibility information for the exact chemical and exposure.
Hand sanitizer and cleaning
When should I use hand sanitizer?
Public-health guidance recommends soap and water when possible, especially when hands are visibly dirty. When running water is unavailable, hand sanitizer containing at least 60% alcohol can be used according to its label.
Is hand sanitizer the same as surface disinfectant?
No. Skin antiseptics and surface disinfectants have different intended uses and directions. Use each only as stated on its label.
Is every sanitizer made in Canada?
No. Country of manufacture varies by product and is stated only where it applies to that specific item.
First-aid supplies
Is there one standard first-aid-kit list for every Canadian workplace?
No. Requirements vary by federal, provincial or territorial jurisdiction and can depend on workforce size, hazards, location and access to medical care.
How often should first-aid supplies be checked?
Follow the applicable workplace requirements and establish a documented inspection schedule. Replace used, damaged, contaminated or expired products and reassess the kit after workplace changes.
Are all gauze and dressings sterile?
No. Sterility varies by product. Confirm the product title, packaging and description before purchase or use.
